Songs of the Week

With lots of new albums coming out this fall, last week has been an amazing week for new music. Here are some of my favourite tracks:

  1. Emma Ruth Rundle - Return Emma returns with a hauntingly beautiful piano ballad.

  2. Art School Girlfriend - Good As I Wanted Polly's debut album "Is It Light Where You Are?" came out last week and it's a dark and dreamy pop masterpiece.

  3. Kyoto Kyoto - Dart Oporto 56 When I first heard Kyoto Kyoto I didn't realise they were singing German. The vocals are more pronounced in this post-punk/ noise-rock mix.

  4. KEG - Presidental Walk The new KEG song is a danceable post-punk banger.

  5. Witch Fever - In Birth New single In Birth from the Manchester punks forthcoming EP Reincarnate shows no mercy to the listener.

  6. JOHN - Non-essential Hymn Six and a half minutes of JOHN's heavy rock.

  7. wych elm - Executioner Grunge-pop band wych elm released the first track from their upcoming EP Rabbit Wench.

  8. Big Thief - Certainty A dreamy new folk song from indie-kid's favourites.

  9. Psychic Graveyard - Mom Is With The Crystals Experimental noise-rock band Psychic Graveyard dropped their new album last week and it has a good chance making my AOTY-list.
